The Royal Elephant Hotel & Conference Centre is a passionate and romantic creation – an endeavour that reveals and celebrates the multitude of traditions, history and splendour of the North Africa and Morocco.

The journey commences in the bustling city of Centurion – a nucleus linking the great African business hubs of Johannesburg, Midrand and Pretoria. The Royal Elephant is ideally situated along primary transportation routes, close to three vital airports, and is ideally situated for both business and leisure travellers. And in the manner of the riad’s of Morocco, guests are enveloped by a natural haven of peace and relaxation, along the Hennops River.

The hotel proudly boasts with 40 luxurious rooms, two family suites, an executive and presidential suite. State of the art conference & meeting facilities cater for up to 450 delegates in a supreme and technologically advanced conference centre including the refurbished Bondev House. These guest facilities are served by the exclusive Zagora Grill Room, Wine Cellar, Cigar Lounge, Oasis Residents Bar and the Fezorati Coffee Emporium.

CONFERENCING AND ACCOMMODATION

The Royal Elephant Conference Centre provides for a wide variety of functions. This Afro-Moroccan multi-purpose centre can seat up to 450 people banquet style, 600 people cinema style and schoolroom up to 500 delegates. These facilities include the refurbished Bondev House. All conference rooms within the hotel facility are air-conditioned and have independent light switches. Rooms are assigned according to numbers of guests and the nature of the events enquiry. Management reserves the right to re-assign venues, informing the client accordingly. Function rooms turnaround constraints and related charges will be negotiated with individual client, depending on the nature of the function and the venue being used.

Accommodation:
The Royal Elephant has 40 bedrooms with a royal presidential suite. All are individually decorated using traditional Moroccan & North-African furnishings and antiques, as well as characteristic and complementary pieces from distinguished southern African artists and artisans. We brought together artefacts from all over the world, many of which feature in the bedrooms and spacious en-suite washrooms.

Each guest room adds to the secret journey with its uniquely evocative Moroccan name. Amenities, furniture and decoration have all been carefully chosen to enrich your experience, from the ornamental lanterns above the beds, to the spacious, earthy washrooms.
