Originally opened as an intimate weekend getaway, Glenburn Lodge & Spa today caters to the needs of business and leisure travellers alike. Explore the lodge’s Bush Willow Tented Camp, built in an area of the property overlooking indigenous bush and tranquil water features.

The Exquisite Glenburn Spa is located in a tranquil and scenic setting, boasting spectacular views from every angle. Treat yourself, after a visit to the spa or a day of work, to an unforgettable lunch or dinner. All rooms are decorated with your comfort in mind and feature numerous modern amenities.

CONFERENCING

The Glenburn Lodge & Spa conference centre includes fourteen venues: Glenkyle, Glencove and Glenwillow feature banqueting as well as conference facilities. The largest venue, Glenkyle, can take up to 300 delegates at a time. The Coachman, the Boardroom, Greenwell’s Glory, Mallard, Marabou, Minnow, Muddler, Pheasants Tail, Royal Clansman and Williams Favourite provide conference facilities for groups between six and 150. Conference venue names were either inspired by Glenburn Lodge’s fly fishing tradition and fly names, or the Scottish names reflecting the beautiful natural surrounds.

A range of conference packages are available to suit your specific needs and budget. Delegates can expect sumptuous tea and coffee break snacks and a wide selection of coffee and tea options. In winter time Glenburn Lodge also serve soups and hot chocolates during breaks. The aroma of popcorn in the conference all day long has been a favourite with conference-goers for many years. Standard conference equipment is included in the conference packages while we can make arrangements for any special requirements the company may have.

ACCOMEDATION

The three star Glenburn Lodge offers a total 100 bedrooms made up of two and three bedroom Hotel Chalets, luxury Timeshare Chalets,  Garden Suites, Standard Hotel Rooms, Twin Rooms and Hotel Suites overlooking indigenous bush and tranquil water features.

STANDARD HOTEL ROOM

Offering space and comfort the Standard Hotel Room has double/twin beds (king-size bed or 2 twin beds). The small patio overlooks the lodge’s stunning surroundings. Room Facilities: Safety Deposit Box, Air Conditioning, Fan, Extra Long Beds (> 2 metres) in selected rooms , Heating, Bath, Bathroom Amenities, Toilet, Bathroom, TV, Telephone, Radio, Satellite TV (selected channels) , Tea & Coffee making facilities, Balcony.

HOTEL SUITE

Hotel Suite Rooms overlook the hotel swimming pool, or dam and lush garden. Room Facilities: Safety Deposit Box, Air Conditioning, Extra Long Beds (> 2 metres) , Heating, Shower, Bath, Hairdryer, Bathroom Amenities, Toilet, Bathroom, TV, Telephone, Radio, Satellite TV (Selected channels) , Tea & Coffee making facilities, Mini bar only filled upon request prior to arrival, Patio Bed Size (s): 1 Large double (cannot be split).

GARDEN SUITE

Garden Suites boast 4 star elegance with fresh contemporary Afro-centric décor, each with its own private patio. Room Facilities: Safety Deposit Box, Air Conditioning, Extra Long Beds (> 2 metres), Heating, Shower, Bath, Hairdryer, Bathroom Amenities, Toilet, Bathroom, TV, Telephone, Radio, Satellite TV, Tea & Coffee making facilities, Mini bar only filled upon request prior to arrival, Patio Bed Size(s): 1 large double, which can be split. For a river facing Garden Suite please ask for units 15 – 26.

HOTEL CHALET

This is an ideal option for families, wedding guests or groups traveling together. With its own braai facilities and a lovely patio overlooking the river frontage, it allows guest to do self-catering, should they choose to not to use the hotel restaurant. The kitchen is equipped with a two plate stove, fridge and microwave oven. The cosy split level lounge

has a fireplace, ideal for winter nights. Bedrooms are en-suite , with private parking in front or next to the Chalet. The two bedroom Chalets have a TV in each room but not in the lounge, whereas the three bedroom chalets have a TV in the lounge. For a 3 bedroom river facing chalet please ask for unit 1, 3, or 5 . All eight of our 2 bedroom chalets are river facing. A minimum two night stay applies to chalets.
